WILLIAMS Jean Passed away peacefully at Heron Hill Nursing Home, Kendal on the 20th April 2023, aged 88 years. Much-loved wife of the late David Williams, who passed away at the early age of 42, 46 years ago. Now together, forever. One very, very special mum to Suzi Bunting, mother-in-law to Kevin and affectionally known as 'Granny Grasmere' to Charlotte and Thomas. She will be missed by all who knew her, family, friends and neighbours. Funeral service to celebrate Jean's life will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Tuesday 9th May, at 2pm. Family flowers only please. All who knew Jean are welcome to attend. Donations in her memory are payable to KLTC Ruskin's View, (The Friends of Ruskin's View, Tourist Information Centre Kirkby Lonsdale) and can be made on the day or online via fishwicksfunerals.co.uk. Suzi - thoughts with you. You’ll remember that your wonderful Mum took over from my aunt, Jean Richards (died 2020) in the bakery at Brockhole, and was a kind, generous and thoughtful person to work alongside. I look back on that time (1985 onwards) with affection, not least because of your Mum. RIP Jean.
