BECKETT Ralph David Of Kendal, died 28th March 2022 at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, aged 94 years. Devoted husband of Ann, a beloved father and grandfather. Funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity & St George RC Church, Kendal on Friday 28th April at 11.30am. Family flowers only please. Donations to the National Autistic Society can be made online via fishwicksfunerals.co.uk. Enquiries tel 015395 63108.

Gutted to read that Ralph had died. Lovely man with an amazing dry sense of humour. He gave me a job at Kentmere that I loved and stayed for 25 years. At the interview we just chatted about our families and life in general. I will always remember that he discarded anyone who sent in a CV. He was old school and a real gentleman. I will always be grateful to Ralph for giving me a chance and for being the genuine real person that was Ralph. I am sorry that I missed his funeral I would have liked to pay him my respects .
