BRAITHWAITE John Robert John died peacefully on 29th March, aged 85 years. Dearly loved and loving husband of Maree, devoted dad of Jane and Sara and son-in-law John, adored grandpa of Harriet, Elliot, Lydia, Oliver and Louis. Funeral service will be held at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Friday 21st April at 11am. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society or Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association can be made online via fishwicksfunerals.co.uk. Enquiries 015395 63108.

My sincere condolences to all the family for their great loss. I knew John as a work colleague and remember him as a kind person and loving family man. I remember appreciating receiving a card and visit from him and Maree when I was having a hard time in hospital many years ago. Rest in peace John
