METCALFE George Rex Formerly of Havera, Sedbergh, passed away peacefully on 8th March 2023 at Elmsfield House, Holme, aged 88 years. Devoted husband to the late Pat, beloved Dad to Paul & Neil and father-in-law to Nic & Kay. Doting grandad to Phil, Robbie and Phil's partner Jayne. Proud great-grandad to Lily Rose and Freddy as well as a treasured brother, uncle, neighbour and friend to many. A celebration of Rex's life will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Thursday 30th March 2023 at 11am. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Royal British Legion.
