ATKINSON Margaret Rose Of Far Sawrey. Passed away peacefully at Risedale Nursing Home, Barrow 6th March 2023 aged 89 Much loved wife of The Late Clifford Atkinson, adored Mum, Grandma and Great Grandma. Greatly missed by all. Funeral service to be held at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow on Thursday 23rd March at 12.15pm Family flowers only but donations if desired to St Peter's Church Far Sawrey via dalton@littleandcaine.co.uk All enquiries and donations to Little and Caine 01229 462564

Very sad to read this news. Cliff and Margaret were the loveliest of neighbours for 7 years. I especially remember summer days in their garden, feeding the fish and playing with the turtles when my children were small. When my daughter was born Margaret brought me a bunch of freshly cut sweet peas every day to keep by my bed. I enjoyed seeing all her collection of ornaments on her Christmas tree, each one had a story.
Cliff told me great stories of Mount Everest and we enjoyed looking at the birds nesting from his new nest cam TV.
Happy days, so sorry to hear of their passing.
