BALMER Thomas Longstaff MBE Peacefully at Eden Valley Hospice, Carlisle on Friday 16th December. Aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Nancy, dear dad of Brenda, Valerie and Jennifer and a much loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service at Kirkby Stephen Methodist Chapel on Friday 30th December at 11am, followed by private interment at Kirkby Stephen Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations in memory of Thomas, which will be divided between The Brain Tumour Charity and Breast Cancer Now, can be left at the service or sent c/o Walkers Funeral Directors, Chapel Street, Appleby in Westmorland, CA16 6QR
