AXFORD Barbara Jean Axford, formerly of Sedbergh, passed away peacefully on 2nd December 2022, aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Axford, a dear mum of Richard, Graham, Simon and Miriam, proud granny BB to Heidi, Helen, Geraldine, Oliver and Craig, great-granny BB to eleven and auntie B to wider family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Cornerstone Community Church, New Street, Sedbergh on Monday 19th December at 12noon, followed by burial in Sedbergh Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Oxfam, Sight Advice South Lakes and South Lakes Dementia Community.
