HARRISON Peter George Dixon The Harrison family Jane, Charles and Ruth are sad to announce the death of their dear and much loved younger brother Peter who passed away peacefully at Laurel Bank care home on 29th November aged 59 after a battle with cancer. Peter will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Academically inclined he was Head Boy of Heversham Grammar School, was a talented artist and had a joyful sense of humour characterised in his party piece rendition of The Borgia Orgy and his entertaining approach to life, much of it spent in the business of caring for others. A celebration of Peter's life and funeral service will be held at St Mary's Church in his home town of Kirkby Lonsdale on 6th January at 12 noon. Interment will be at the Dalton Woods woodland burial ground followed by a reception at the Orange Tree Hotel in Kirkby Lonsdale. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Lancaster based St Johns Hospice and Laurel Bank Care Home for their professional and caring support and also to Fishwicks Funeral Service. Family flowers only please, donations as desired will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
