PATTISON John Marsh It is with great sadness to announce the passing of John on Thursday 24th November 2022, aged 79. Beloved and treasured husband of Louvain, much-loved father to Sarah, David and Cathy, and sons-in-law Andrew and Paul, very proud and dearly loved grandfather to Harry and Kitty, and cherished brother of Geoff. A service will be held at St Mark's Church, Natland on Thursday 15th December 2022 at 12:30pm. This will be followed by a committal at Beetham Hall for family and close friends. An after service gathering will be held from 1:45pm at Crooklands Hotel, Hayloft Suite. John dedicated his working life to preserving and enhancing the natural landscape and heritage of the Lake District National Park so that it could be enjoyed by everyone. Donations if desired to Friends of the Lake District or Growing Well at Low Sizergh. These may be made online via fishwicksfunerals.co.uk or at St Mark's Church on the day of the service.
