DAY Alan Derwent Day of Kirkby Lonsdale, passed away peacefully on 15th October, aged 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean Margaret, proud father of Robin and Ewan, cherished grandpa to Amelia Lily. A service to celebrate Alan's life will take place at St Mary's Church, Kirkby Lonsdale at 1.30pm on Thursday 3rd November. Our sincere condolences to Alan’s family. He was a wonderful man and will be much missed by everyone.
From Mavis Price ( wife of the late Bob Price to whom Alan was a good friend) and from Roy &Anne Pilkington (Bobs daughter & Son in law ) who often used to see Alan on his walk up to the rugby club . Much missed.
