WOODHOUSE Geoffrey (Woody) Sadly, on Friday 23rd September at RLI, Geoff aged 89 years, passed away peacefully following an illness borne with the greatest courage and dignity. Beloved husband of Eileen, adored Dad of Clare and husband Rob, "the best" grandpa to Sarah and Amy and friend to many. The funeral service will take place on Monday 10th October at Stricklandgate Methodist Church at 2.00pm followed by interment at Burneside Church. At Geoff's request, please wear bright colours no black to be worn. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cancer Research UK. All enquiries and donations to Hayes & Parkinson Ltd. Heartfelt thanks to the paramedics, the staff at RLI Emergency Unit & the Acute Frailty Unit who looked after Geoff with the greatest of care and compassion. He will be sadly missed our hearts are broken.
