BOND Michael Edward (Mike) Mike of Priest Hutton and Burton in Kendal battled Mesothelioma over the past year and sadly passed at home with his darling wife and best friend Maisie holding his hand, aged 78 years. She, having nursed him throughout and with the excellent support of St John's Hospice Night Nurses in the last week. He leaves behind Mavis, step daughters Julia, Ruth and their families and lovingly supportive, devoted sister Jen and husband John. He was a friend to many. Mike was a man of many interests keeping sheep and poultry, restoring classic British motorcycles and fishing. Funeral service will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Monday 3rd October, 2022 at 2pm.
