HAYTON We, Jean and Len’s family, would like to thank all our relatives and friends for the many beautiful cards, flowers and kind messages of sympathy and appreciation of the special way in which Len touched so many lives. Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who have looked after Len so well these last few years. Thank you to everyone who attended Len’s funeral service and gave such marvellous support with their wonderful singing. Thank you to Bill, Tony, Andrew, Keith, John and Mossop for your superb and heartfelt tributes to Len, to Robin Orr for the lovely music and to the Reverend Canon Ruth Crossley for conducting the service so well. Our thanks go to Anthony Clarke and his team for their excellent care with the funeral arrangements. Thank you to all the sponsors of Len’s book “Rhymes and Recollections of a Lakeland Lad” which has raised up to now over £11,000 for CancerCare South Lakeland and St John’s Hospice at Home.
