A SURGERY scheme where planners meet the public to iron out planning issues affecting the Lake District is opening its doors in Glenridding.
Planning surgeries are already held in Keswick, where hundreds of people have turned up for free on-the-spot advice.
A similar project is now to be run by the Lake District National Park Authority at the Ullswater Information Centre starting on February 3.
A planning officer will be available on the first Thursday of the month from 11am to 2.30pm, up until July 7.
