WALL-to-wall mirth and merriment is on the menu for Lancaster’s Comedy Club next Thursday (December 9, 8pm) with three leading comics dishing out the laughs.
Tickets are already selling fast for the Dalton Rooms show, which includes Kevin Shepherd as MC, Black Country comic Sean Percival as the opening act and TV comedian Danny Buckler headlining.
Kevin moved from his native town of Bognor Regis with a burning ambition to become a successful stand-up comic.
In 2006 he did his first and very well received Edinburgh show Kevin Shepherd: Comics Die in Hot Cars. His friendly face and manic energy are proving successful with all types of audience.
Former welder Sean, from Dudley, has an act steeped in the traditions of the working men’s clubs circuit, but bang up to date with its upfront attitude.
His brand of comedy steers clear of the surreal and confronts realism in an explosively funny way.
A festival favourite, he has performed at the Edinburgh, Glastonbury and Reading events, and as a well-established headliner he performs at all major comedy clubs around the UK.
Top of the bill Danny is fast establishing himself as one of the most popular performers on the circuit - as a stand-up, improvisational actor, magician or all-round performer.
He has worked both nationally and in an acclaimed sell-out show in the West End with Victoria Wood and Imelda Staunton.
Meanwhile, on television, he has appeared alongside the Dead Ringers, on Dinner Ladies and as a frontline presenter of The Secret of Magic.
