LAST year, as part of a three-month fund-raiser for Help the Heroes, the Houghton Weavers appeared as guests with Jacqui McDonald and Friends at Staveley Village Hall and raised £2,800 for the cause.
The guys are back at the Staveley venue to join Jacqui once again for what promises to be another outstanding night of music and banter.
Formed in 1975, The Houghton Weavers have become one of the nation’s favourite comedy folk bands.
Their own show Sit Thi Deawn, which ran for over seven years, had some of the highest viewing figures for any regional TV programme. Tickets from Staveley Chemists.
* The Houghton Weavers play Staveley Village Hall on Saturday, November 27 (8pm).
