IF YOU'VE never managed to see the man himself then The Dylan Project could be the next best thing.
A tribute band without the tack, according to Mojo, "The Dylan Project is a tribute in the best possible sense," they return to the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, on December 3.
The Dylan Project are: Gerry Conway, drums and percussion; Simon Nicol, guitar, Dave Pegg, bass (all members of Fairport Convention); P.J. Wright, slide, electric guitar and pedal steel; and Steve Gibbons, vocals.
The band, who appeared at the Brewery two years ago, regularly tour the UK and Europe and are no strangers to the summer festival scene.
Gig-goers can expect everything from Like A Rolling Stone and Just Like A Woman to Highway 61 and Lay Lady Lay without Dylan's trademark tantrums.
Doors open at 8.30pm. To book tickets, contact the Box Office on 01539-725133.
