ONE of the folk circuit's most famous, Rory McLeod (right), plays in Kendal this month.
Flanked by local blues duo The Rooks, the BBC folk musician of the year appears at Kendal College on November 25.
Expect tap shoes, spoons and finger cymbals as well as the acoustic guitar as he tackles major issues and minutiae to raise funds for the Dent Folk Festival .
McLeod is a past winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and he also wrote the theme to Aardman Animations recent series Creature Comforts.
Tickets for the intimate 100-seat gig at the Creative Arts Centre, Beezon Road, are available from Kendal Tourist Information Centre or by calling 01539-725758.
