MUSIC mogul and manager Peter Jenner is among the famous faces who will be dishing out advice at this year's Take Note conference in Kendal.
The music industry veteran, who has had the likes of Pink Floyd, The Clash and T Rex on his management books, will be leading one of the sessions at the two-day event (Nov 1 & 2) aimed at those working within Cumbria's live music scene.
Jenner, who has survived 25 years in the industry, will sit on the Build Up Your Band' session on November 1.
Steve Mason, of the now defunct BETA Band, will be leading the Take Note composition workshop on Wednesday morning, when he will be giving a glimpse into life as a professional musician and his approach to making music.
As part of the event, hosted by the Brewery Arts Centre, local bands will be perfoming on both nights. Tuesday sees sounds from The Freedom, Nothin' Less and Sadie Hawkins Dance while Wednesday brings Colurblind, My Silo and The Origin.
The event is open to anyone in the county's music scene musicians, managers, promoters, students and producers but places are limited.
