CAMERATA at the Coro concerts continue next Thursday (February 3) at 7.30pm with a performance conducted by the orchestra's music director, Douglas Boyd and featuring two of Beethoven's most popular works, his Violin Concerto and the Pastoral Symphony, no 6.

Anthony Marwood joins the Manchester Camerata on Ulverston's Coronation Hall stage to perform Beethoven's concerto, one of the best loved in the repertoire.

Meanwhile, Beethoven's sixth, which is always a favourite with audiences, features many memorable melodies evoking rustic dances, birdsong, babbling brooks and a thunderstorm.

The concert gets off to a rousing start with Mozart's Magic Flute overture and, as an added bonus, two members of Manchester Camerata will be performing an informal encore in the Coro bar after the concert.

The Camerata's series is part of a three-year residency at Ulverston.

Tickets are £18, £16 and £13. Concessions are available with special discounted prices of £5 and under for children and young people.
