TECHNO-BASED, UFO-obsessed Ozric Tentacles side project Eat Static land at Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre next month.
After making their initial appearances performing before and after Ozric shows, Eat Static issued their first few singles on their own Alien label before signing to Planet Dog.
Eat Static play Kendal on February 11 and they are Merv Pepler, keyboards, drum patterns and samplers; Joie Hinton, keyboards and samplers; plus synth player Steve Everitt.
Regularly featuring at the legendary Megadog nights during the nineties, Eat Static rapidly became stars of the international techno trance scene and were in demand at festivals across the world.
Latterly the band have taken on board other influences including drum and bass and dub a killer combination which promises yet another pounding dance night in the Malt Room.
