THERE are still spaces for young bands and musicians on a Carlisle course designed to shape them up to face the modern music industry.
Come Together which runs from October 25 until October 29 for under 18s has been organised by live music development agency Generator as part of the Orange Mission Music project.
The week-long event is designed to help young people who belong in a band, or play alone, and are keen to progress their careers, to come together and push their music forward.
Leading music professionals will be brought in to arm music hopefuls with advice on surviving and succeeding in the music industry. The advice team will include a Sony representative who will offer his views on what record companies want.
Musicians will spend most of their time in the recording studio alongside qualified engineers and the course also includes a session with a professional music photographer who will take publicity shots.
