MOUNTAINEERS, climbers and extreme sports enthusiasts who fancy themselves as the next Steven Spielberg are being offered the chance to learn the tricks of the trade at the second Extreme Film School.
The course runs over two weekends in October and has been organised by BBC filmmaker Graham Hoyland, who made the film of the expedition to find the body of George Mallory on Mount Everest.
Students will get the chance to learn from the experts about how to make adventure films in extreme and often dangerous conditions, and the films they make on the course will then be shown at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival in November.
