BANK Holiday weekend sees Morecambe's Festival of Light and Water explode into town.
The seaside resort's biggest festival of the summer sees two days of music and fireworks which kick off at noon and wind up at 10pm.
Saturday night, August 28, sees Gidea Park recreate the sounds of the sixties with tributes to the Beach Boys and Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons with high-pitched support from The Bee Gees Experience.
Queen tribute band Mercury headline on Sunday, August 29, supported by cover band Solid Silver. Other bands acts include The Section, Dime Store Rock and 24/7.
