RHEGED has managed to pull off a coup for Cumbria by screening the first showing of the new Metallica film in England next weekend.
The Penrith attraction has managed to lay its hands on the brand new Metallica film Some Kind of Monster! straight from its screening at the Edinburgh Festival.
Three screenings on August 29 and 30 will be shown as part of the New and Vintage Guitar Show which is being staged at the centre and is organised by the British Fender Club.
Not just for the hardcore Metallica fans, the documentary is billed as a fascinating, funny and intimate study of masculinity, friendship and workplace dynamics.
The festival, which has been held in Cumbria for the past six years, will be packed full of dealers selling new and used guitars and accessories, workshops and performances.
Local rockers Sheddie Eddie will be playing as well as Zoe McCullock while Tony Foad will be demonstrating his Hellicasters playing.
Rheged will also be showing rock related movies, the hilarious spoof This is Spinal Tap and family feel-good comedy School of Rock.
