KENDAL'S Brewery Arts Centre prepares to serve up summer helpings of some of the world's finest guitar gurus this weekend.
The Kendal International Guitar Festival sees a long weekend of concerts, workshops and masterclasses giving members of the public a chance to strum alongside guitar gods.
Tonight sees former Stone Roses guitarist Aziz Ibrahim take to the theatre stage alongside Pierre Bensusan and Eduardo Niebla with local guitar talent and South Lakeland staple Gerry Gillard supporting Les Wilson and MHR in the Malt Room.
Tomorrow (Saturday) brings workshops and masterclasses with Pierre Bensusan and world-class jazz flamenco guitarist Eduardo Niebla, while the evening sees John Renbourn and Clive Carroll in concert. Wilco Johnson is supported by Gerry Gillard in the Malt Room.
Sunday night and the finale of the festival features workshops with the likes of Eric Roche and guitarists' guitarist Jerry Donahue.
Kendal International Guitar Festival runs from June 4 to 6.
