DRIVING Blind brings the collaboration between photographer A.J. Wilkinson and writer Richard McCann into the public arena.
On show at Lancaster's Folly gallery, it features images and text from independent travel experiences combined at random in a multi-media installation using digital projection and sound.
Inspired by the Beat generation collaborations of Robert Frank and Jack Kerouac, plus the cut-up experiments of William Burroughs, the installation will create a kaleidoscopic wide-screen narrative that explores the disorientating effects of being a long way from home, both physically and existentially.
Meanwhile, the new Folly brochure is available, covering the gallery exhibitions, activities and events for the rest of the year at the 26 Castle Park arthouse.
