MERCURY MUSIC prize nominee Kathryn Williams heads for Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre on Sunday night.
Often compared to Joni Mitchell and Beth Orton, she released her debut album Dog Leap Stairs which was co-produced by PJ Harvey in 1999. While her next album Little Black Numbers snatched her the best reviews and secured a Mercury Music prize nomination.
Her new album, Relations, was released earlier this month and is a collection of covers ranging from Ivor Cutler to Kurt Cobain.
