SCULPTURES by two of the world's most important artists are on show at Abbot Hall Art Gallery.
The display of Edgar Degas' Dancer Looking at the Sole of her Right Foot (left) and Pablo Picasso's Cock has been made possible through the continued partnership between the Kendal gallery and Tate in London. Specially designed workshops for primary and secondary schools have been organised by the gallery's education team based around the sculptures, combining dance and movement, observational drawing and an introduction to creating sculpture. All of the activities will link to other artworks in Abbot Hall's own collection.
