MAXIMUM strength smokin’ blues from the very forefront of the British R’n’B revival will be playing in Kendal this month.
Nine Below Zero, who first formed in South London in 1977, will be jamming at the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, on Saturday, November 22.
Founder member Dennis Greaves is now widely acknowledged as one of the best blues guitarists the UK has ever produced.
The group also features the mighty rhythm section of Gerry McAvoy on bass and Brendan O’Neill on drums, both formerly sidemen to the great blues legend Rory Gallagher, as well as the legendary harmonica of Billy Boy. It’s a lethal live combination.
Doors open at 8.30pm and for details, contact the Box Office on 01539-725133.
