EVERSLEY Choir's much awaited spring concert is Shakespeare 400.
The performance is a celebration of English poetry set to music, and includes Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music, Michael Hurd's Shepherd’s Calendar, Purcell's Come Ye Sons of Art, settings of Shakespeare by Matthew Harris and Warlock’s Capriol Suite for orchestra.
The concert is staged at Dallam School, Milnthorpe, on Saturday, April 23 (7.30pm) with an orchestra and soloists, soprano, Emily Robinson (pictured) and baritone, Jolyon Dodgson, all under the baton of Ian Jones. Tickets are available on 01524-734223 or at the door.
