ONE of Kendal's most successful bands is hoping to establish an exciting music scene in the town by recruiting top class bands for a new club night.
Local punk outfit Seven Seals have used their contacts and status as a touring band to persuade other high quality acts to appear at the Fleece on April 7.
The lads are hoping that the event, which will be known as KlubSeAls, will prove hugely successful, paving the way for it to become a regular feature.
Music from The Wild Beasts, Supa Cuba and The Light Years will be interspersed by specially selected tunes from The Seven Seals.
Seals lead singer Simon Pickering said the event would be one of the most happening nights that Kendal has seen in a long time.
