ONE OF the most instrumental bands in the last twenty years of musical history is heading for Carlisle this month.
Popular and influential indie band James is performing its first live gig in six years at the Sands Centre on Wednesday, April 17.
From their pivotal place in the mid to late 80's indie scene to the early 90's Manc-centric baggy scene and the mid-90's brave new world of guitar bands breaking the top 10 and playing arenas, James has been at the forefront of British music.
