DJ MARK Devlin is full of surprises. Not only has he a new book out, which explodes the myth of the international DJ lifestyle, but he has chosen a little spot in the heart of the Lake District to hold its glitzy launch bash.
After carving out a successful global career, the RnB DJ has gone down the warts n' all route with his insightful book, Tales From the Flipside. It reveals how life for an international DJ is not all private jets, champagne, and A List parties - but more Easy Jet, sparkling wine and tiring tours with the wife in tow.
And next Thursday (April 5), Devlin will join his Cumbrian colleagues DJ Bligeness and Miraj at their regular Block Party night at The Wheelhouse in Bowness for the official launch party.
