DIVERSITY is a major strength of a Kendal College student art exhibition - and this year's event is another high calibre show from the next generation of artists and designers.

Freeze is an exhibition showcasing the diversity and impressive work being produced by the art and design students at Kendal College, who have responded to the Freeze theme through a variety of artistic disciplines and approaches, ranging from contemporary fine art to graphic design.

Running at Kendal Museum until March 17, the exhibition includes second year National Diploma and Foundation Studies students and, for the first time, those on a Foundation Degree in Visual Arts at the college created through the new University of Cumbria.

The museum is open Monday-Saturday, 10.30am-4pm, until March 31. After which the opening hours are reduced to three days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from noon until 5pm.
