IF PRACTICE makes perfect you can expect The Hamsters' Rheged gig to go silky smooth tomorrow, seeing as they recently played their 3,750th concert.
The popular blues-rock combo, who have toured with Status Quo, Alison Moyet and Doctor Feelgood, have been on the scene for 20 years now and earned admiring glances from Radio 2, the Top Gear boys and Eric Clapton along the way.
They will play the Penrith venue tomorrow (Saturday, February 17), from 8pm, for a humble £14. For tickets call Rheged on 01768-868000.
