Keswick's Theatre by the Lake is again hosting this comprehensive literature festival organised by Ways With Words.
From 9 - 14 March local writers and readers will get to rub shoulders with such masters in this field as Simon Armitage, Kate Adie, Melvyn Bragg, Roger Bannister, Ricky Tomlinson and this year's Booker Prize Winner D.B.C. Pierre.
With the inspirational Derwentwater as a backdrop, the full programme of literary events promises to do more than entertain.
The festival includes workshops, book launches and special exhibitions.
The Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal is offering a southern flavour this year, with workshops on Sunday 7 March.
