The Rothay Manor Hotel & Restaurant is situated in
landscaped grounds just a short walk from Lake Windermere and Ambleside. It
offers a relaxed, warm and friendly atmosphere in a luxury Regency country house
setting. The hotel provides 16 large individually designed en-suite bedrooms and
three suites, spacious comfortable lounges, delicious fresh food and outstanding
service.
The Nixon family have owned and managed the hotel for over
45 years and ensure that guests have a memorable stay, enjoying homemade jams
and marmalades, a cooked to order breakfast, candle-lit restaurant and modern
amenities including free wi-fi.
Families are welcome at the hotel. From games to play in
the garden to child friendly dining, we aim to make guests feel comfortable and
at home. For our younger guests, cots, high chairs and baby-listening are
available and an excellent High Tea or Young Diner's menu is also provided.
