Dales-based butchers, Pearson’s of Ingleton, is celebrating a string of award success.
The shop scooped four gold awards at the BPEX (British Pig Executive) North England and Yorkshire Regional Roadshow, at Harrogate, winning acclaim for their new pork and orange marmalade sausage and pork and spicy tomato sausage.
Young apprentice George Taylor also struck gold with his Christmas sausage creation, made with raisins, apple and cinnamon, and their champion pork pie came away with its 10th gold gong.
The Q Guild butchers also went on to win a number of prizes at the annual Smithfield Awards in London.
