A woman in her seventies has died after suffering a 'medical episode' in the Lake District.
Emergency services were called to Gummer's How around 3pm on Saturday (February 17).
Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and a police car were sighted at Fell Foot Brow car park.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: "Police were called by North West Ambulance Services at 3:04pm on 17 February 2024 due to a woman suffering a suspected medical episode on Gummers How, Windermere.
"Police, ambulance, and mountain rescue attended the scene.
"A woman in her 70s was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious."
