A 91 year-old is slowly building up a collection of landmarks and buildings, all put together by his loving - and steady - hands.
Irwin Jenkinson, a resident of Lunesdale House in Milnthorpe, took up the hobby when he moved to the care home last year.
Most of the creations are from Ravensburger sets, which he describes as “like 3D jigsaws.” Glue isn’t required, although he does use it occasionally for reinforcement.
Mr Jenkinson is pictured holding the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, which is one of the pieces he is most proud of.
Understandably, finding places to put the sizeable models can be a challenge.
“I have got them everywhere,” he said. “I’ll have to see if I can get some more shelves put up!”
