Keen fellwalker Alexandra Woodward took this photograph from Illgill, which is one of the Wasdale Screes.
The shot shows the mountains at the head of Wasdale - below is Wast water.
"Wainwright reckons that Illgill is the best place to see Wasdale Head in all its glory," said Alexandra.
