Police investigating after school pupil assaulted in
POLICE are investigating an assault in Dalton-in-Furness after a school pupil was thrown from his bike.
Cumbria Police say the incident occurred on Market Street outside an estate agents between 8am and 8.15am on Wednesday, April 20.
Police have said the school pupil was riding his bike when he was grabbed around his neck by an unknown male and thrown to the floor, sustaining bruising and minor injuries.

The male is described as in his 40s with short black hair, and was wearing black trousers and a black button-up jacket.
