MEMBERS of three mountain rescue teams attended to a woman who had collapsed with chest pain last Saturday (April 16).
Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team were called out before midday to a woman on Buttermere Shore.
The Great North Air Ambulance (GNAAS) were also called at 11:45am to assist with the rescue and a passing member of neighbouring Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team also attended the scene.
The woman was found to have collapsed but was stabilised by the GNAAS aircrew who then stretchered her to a waiting land ambulance.
