A STUDENT from Kirkbie Kendal School is planning to jet off to medical school in New Zealand after gaining three top end grades.

Emily Morphet got an A* in English literature, an A in psychology and a B in biology – and wants to follow in the footsteps of several of her family members by going into the medical profession.

“I found psychology really interesting so ultimately I’d like to go into psychiatry,” she said.
