Man found dead by friend in Kendal
A 50-year-old man was found dead in his own home by a friend.
Police were called to the Waterside Estate in Kendal at around 7:25pm on Friday, June 20.
The cause of death is as yet unexplained.
The Criminal Investigation Department last night cordoned off the area whilst a forensic examination was underway.
Officers are currently working with the coroner to establish the cause of death.
Whilst no formal identification has taken place, the family have been informed.
