FIREFIGHTERS were called out yesterday to reports of a boat on fire on Windermere.
Crews attended the incident at around 2.45pm at Ferry Nab, on the shoreline close to Bowness.
On arrival they found smoke coming from the engine bay and used one hose reel to extinguish it.
A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for spread of fire.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said ‘all persons were accounted for’.
