THE A590 has reopened after a tractor fire caused delays for rush hour motorists.
Firefighters were called to a report of a collision involving a large agricultural vehicle near Levens at around 4pm.
When they arrived they found that the vehicle was in fact on fire and no other cars were involved.
Two hose reel jets were used to deal with the incident and one lane was closed eastbound until around 7.30pm.
