NORTH Lancashire firefighters were called out at around 2am this morning after an HGV and trailer caught fire on the M6.
The incident occurred on the northbound carriageway, close to junction 33.
Crews from Lancaster attended and used a portable pump, a jet, a hose reel and foam concentrate to put out the fire, which caused 100 per cent damage to the trailer.
Nobody is believed to have been hurt during the incident.
